Saint Mary’s Cathedral is located at 1111 Gough St, San Francisco. Parking is limited.
The first Swedish Christmas Fair was held in 1984 in San Francisco and has since returned every year (with smaller versions during the COVID years). It is an opportunity to spread Swedish culture, showcase our traditions, and raise funds for SWEA San Francisco’s scholarships and donations.
You will find traditional and modern handmade crafts, books, clothes, jewelry and decor.
You might even find a treasure at our ”White Reindeer” table.
Enjoy the smell of glögg and gingerbread and the taste of shrimp sandwiches, waffles, or a hot dog with bun.
You can also buy food items like Lucia buns (lussekatter), pickled herring, anchovis, Swedish candy and so much more.
The Lucia procession will be performed upstairs in St. Mary’s Cathedral, at 10am and 12pm.
It’s the perfect setting for this most traditional and musical experience. The holiday season and festivities begin with Santa Lucia.
We have lots of fun events for the children: the classic fish pond, Christmas crafts, dance around the Christmas tree, and of course, Santa will be there!
